Multicast Appoints Jim Byrne as Vice President of Product Development and Strategy
(Atlanta, GA) - August 28, 2006 - Multicast Media Technologies, Inc., a leading Internet broadcast products and services provider, announced today the appointment of Jim Byrne to the position of Vice President of Product Development and Strategy. In this new role, Byrne will leverage his significant experience in streaming content delivery networks (CDNs) to develop next-generation digital-media management products while establishing strategic relationships in the online and traditional media space. Byrne will report to Jason Simpson, Executive Vice President of Business Development.

Prior to joining Multicast, Byrne held many positions at VitalStream, a California-based audio/video-focused content delivery network (CDN). As a founding member at VitalStream, Byrne planned, built and deployed strategies to launch partner programs; developed new product lines; managed key Fortune 500 accounts, including media, entertainment and cable corporations; and increased monthly company revenues. Byrne earned a B.A. from Chapman University.
