The Quilter's News Network Surpasses 250,000 Unique Visitors

Internet broadcast network achieving unprecedented results

(Atlanta, Georgia) - June 8, 2005 - The Quilter's News Network ("QNN"), the world's first internet broadcast network dedicated to quilting, has struck accord with those who enjoy this age-old craft, and the reach is worldwide. In its first month of existence, QNN™ (www.quiltersnews.com) had over 250,000 unique visitors, and the network's advertisers experienced a never before attainable milestone of over 10 million ad impressions - and with measurable results.

"We are thrilled with the reception from quilters all over the world, and are astonished at the power of grass-roots marketing and the email wildfire that has driven thousands of visitors to QNN every day - all without the benefit of advertising or publicity to date," commented QNN President Sue Ann Taylor. "We have become the home for hundreds of thousands of quilters that check in every day and watch their favorite quilting shows. And overseas, where quilting programming is rare on television, we are a huge hit."

QNN has attracted programming from some of the most popular quilting shows seen on traditional broadcast such as Fons and Porter, Kaye Wood, Quilt in a Day, Perfecting Patchwork and Quilt Central, as well as Friends in the Bee, QNN's signature series produced by QNN's own Sue Ann Taylor. QNN programming is made available 24 hours per day on a daily rotation schedule, providing quilters around the world access to the shows they love and the products they wish to purchase.

From a sponsorship and advertising perspective, companies are experiencing significant increases in sales as a result of their presence on QNN. The evidence is clear that the combination of "show me how" and "click here to buy" is an exciting combination. "I have received a record number of electronic orders for products I demonstrated on Quilters Tea (an exclusive QNN series). Many of them include testimony that seeing the products demonstrated on QNN lead to the decision to buy. Seeing is believing, and QNN makes it possible to see," remarked Sandy Chandler of Just Curves and inventor of the Curve Master presser foot for sewing machines.

"QNN is a playground for quilters and a dream-come-true for the industry. It provides quilters unprecedented access at any hour of the day or night to an endless stream of programs, patterns, inspirations, and the know-how of celebrities and industry experts, and informative 'how-tos' on the latest tools of the trade - and all available right into the sewing room via a computer," stated Jodie Davis, host of Friends in the Bee and Quilters Coffee.

Lou Schwartz, CEO of Multicast, the company that delivers Quilter's News Network, believes that QNN represents a new day for producers of specialty content. "As the broadcast industry shifts to a more ubiquitous and accountable model, Multicast is well-positioned to deliver hundreds of affinity broadcast communities that bring the best of traditional broadcast and the Internet together. Essentially, we remove the barriers that traditional broadcast has been fighting since its inception."

In the United States alone, there are 24 million quilters that serve as the foundation of a $3 billion industry. Phase 2 of QNN will launch in the third quarter of 2005.
